This is a word that can mean a couple of things (the first of which is racist and the second of which is very offensive).

1. A long time ago this word was used to describe people from a certain part of the world… including most of the peoples of Asia, the Eskimos, the North American Indians, etc., who are generally characterized by straight black hair, dark eyes with epicanthic folds, and relatively small stature
