  Remote sensing entails the acquisition of spatial information about an object or phenomenon without making physical contact with the object. An example is the satellites orbiting the earth and they capture images, another example is the specialized aircraft with high tech cameras to take images of the earth and objects. It’s an interesting field and offered in JKUAT, UoN, Dedan Kimathi, TuK etc
