      To understand Chemistry or any other subject, you have to be attentive in class, ask questions where you don’t understand. You could also form group discussions with your classmates, look for revision books, past papers and also attend remedial classes during holidays if need be.

      Hmm.. I would say to read the textbook and also talk with classmates about the lessons! Another approach that I strongly recommend is that supposing you don’t understand a concept, it is important to sort it out close to when you have been first introduced to it! If something doesn’t make sense, it is perfectly ok to look at it again and read it again.

      Also, if you have access to a computer, there are some tutorials on YouTube for many subject topics in Chemistry.

      Lastly, one thing that helped me was sometimes re-copying notes from lecture onto a new piece of paper or on a chalkboard. Sometimes the act of re-writing down the content can help re-enforce difficult concepts.
