I used to engage in games ( soccer) in the evening to get refreshed. I had group works to ease the pressure of what I did not understand. Also, I used to engage the teachers regularly on things I did not understand.

Academic pressure in high school is real. But hey, look here, you are in competition with no one. Judge your own progress and develop a strategy to make it better. appreciate your colleagues who have performed better than you and try to learn from them with an open mind.
Sometime there is really alot you need to do, always make sure your understand the basics mostly taught in form one and then progress to the complex material.
Define true friends you share a similar vision and try to discuss various topics together

@946bm1926: This is a very important question. Academic pressure is real at all levels of study, be it at in high school or when taking advanced degree courses. I suggest getting some break, and finding what works for you to cool down before getting back to work. The truth is you must find a coping mechanism.

This is a legitimate question, and truth be told, there is going to be pressure at all levels of education, therefore finding solutions now will serve you well as you ascend in your career/further training.
One approach is to find some sort of extracurricular activity like exercising, or playing an instrument, singing in a choir, hanging out with real friends (not the ones that stress you out and are competing with you!), finding people who support you and help to empower you. Lastly, it is important to find a way to stay organized so that you can manage your work even when there is high pressure.
