      I think that there are a nerve in the lower spine called the sciatic nerve that’s connected to our legs. If there is damage/inflammation etc of that nerve perhaps that can result in numbness of the leg + back ache. I recommend reaching out to a doctor for professional help/advice.

      I concur with Grace. The sciatic nerve is a large nerve originating from the backbone and serves the lower limbs. Paralysis due to this nerve cause a condition called sciatica
