• Question: Is it really true that the heart pumps 72 times in a minute?how is that possible?

      The normal range for adults is 60-100beats a minute. Children tend to have a faster heart beat.

      Different circumstances can also make the heart rate lower than 60 or higher than 100.

      The 60 and 100 beats per minute is while in rest. Thus heart will speed up during exercise and can go as low as 40bpm for athletes who exercise regularly

      Yup! The heart is an really amazing and powerful machine! It is made of powerful cells that are synchronized to contract and relax in a really efficient way due to an electrical impulse that is produced in the part of the heart called the sinoatrial node.
