Hello! Sugar disease/diabetes occurs when there is a very high amount of glucose in one’s blood. It can affect your eyes by causing swelling in eye tissues, and contribute to serious vision disease and vision loss if not taken care of. The key to treat this condition is to have regular eye exams and let your eye doctor know if you experience any vision issues/blurriness, and to control how much sugar one is consuming 🙂
