      One big problem is the disconnect between the research community and the policymakers. there are instances where decisions are not based on data/research findings.

      I would have for forums between these two groups and also have scientists later take jobs in the policy-making domains

      The major challenge facing scientists in Kenya is inadequate financial and infrastructural support. Young scientists from high school to University level are inadequately exposed to the real research environment that could enable lay a great background in the growth of their scientific career.

      Given a chance, I could turn major learning institutions into research hubs with state of art facilities. This is where innovation would begin
